My Take

My Angel...My Maa

From the cradle to the study table, From slates to 180-paged notebooks. From As and Bs to American hegemony and Belgian ethnicity, From adding 2 and 2 to get 4 to knowing 1 and 1 make 11.

From pressing shift and ctrl to writing codes in netbeans and html, From drawing and colouring mountains to locating them on the world map.

From spelling my name to learning 'Australopithecus',

From learning birthdays and anniversaries to knowing dates in history. From my first poem 'My Mother' to this one 'My Life', The journey couldn't have been better! Thank you Ma...For a gift of this magical journey called 'life',

For a gift of this wonderland called the 'world', For a gift of this fairyland called my 'home', For an angel, 'YOU'!

Every cloud has a silver lining - you help me identify it! Every rose has thorns- you made me accept them! Every night has a dawn awaiting- you help me embrace it! Every person has a heart of gold- you made me realise it!
