Green talk

South City International School held an interactive session with two visiting teachers from the UK. The students asked the guest teachers about measures adopted to keep London green. “London isn’t a very green city anymore because of all the industrial work happening there. But the countryside in the UK is very green,” shared Rachel Folkard, who loved the idea of a nature club in school. “I think that’s a very good idea we can take back to our children.”

Earth Day

Birla Industrial & Technological Museum hosted several educational activities to mark Earth Day on April 22. The programme inaugurated by Helen LaFave, the US consul-general in Calcutta, included a painting competition and a workshop on recycling.
