Nazira drub Lakhimpur

Guwahati, May 4: Nazira registered a thumping 10-wicket victory over Lakhimpur in a match of the second Umananda Bora Trophy Inter-District Under-13 Cricket Tournament at Barsapara Cricket Stadium here today.

The match had to be curtailed to a 10-over-a-side affair because of rain.

Put to bat, the Lakhimpur batsmen managed 51 runs for one wicket in the stipulated 10 overs. Ruhi Nandan Pegu topscored for his side with an unbeaten 34.

The Nazira boys eased past the target without losing a wicket in 8.2 overs. Mriganka Mohan Gogoi scored a run-a-ball 21.
