Gayle stays optimistic

Bangalore: Despite winning just two of the five matches so far, Chris Gayle remains optimistic about Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)’s chances in IPL VII.

Out of nine remaining matches, RCB will play five matches at the Chinnaswamy and Gayle is certainly hoping that the side will fare better on home turf. “We wish to bounce back as quickly as possible. We are back home now and know the conditions well here… ” he said here, on Wednesday.

On his fitness, Gayle said he is working with his physio and hopes to be fully fit in the next two days. “There is slight discomfort. In the next two days, I will be fully fit. I am working with the physio and we will take it from there,” he said. (PTI)
