Official freed

Hailakandi, April 30: Arindam Kar, the Cachar Paper Mill employee who was abducted by unknown men on Saturday, was released yesterday night at Kanmun in Mizoram.

“We got a phone call at 10.30pm on Monday from a person who spoke in broken Bengali. He told us that my brother would be released the next day at Kanmun and we should come to get him,” Arindam’s brother said.
