City overcome Santipur

Guwahati, April 29: City Cricket Club registered a three-wicket victory over Santipur Athletic Club in their match of the Bhupen Chandra Mahanta Guwahati Sports Association A Division Cricket League at Nehru Stadium here today.

Santipur batsmen put up a total of 147 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their stipulated 35 overs.

City batsmen got past the target losing seven wickets in 30.2 overs. Shuhel Rehman topscored with 69 runs.
