A total of 667 cases have been registered following the raids.

Guwahati: The Chirang district administration conducted at least six voters’ awareness programmes since March 17 as part of the Election Commission’s drive to improve turnouts. Street plays were also staged as part of the campaign.

Modi rallies

Guwahati: BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address election rallies in four Assembly constituencies — Barpeta, Dhubri, Mangaldoi and Nagaon — in Assam, which will go to polls in third phase on April 24. The dates of the rallies, however, are yet to be finalised.
