Calcutta: Fresh from their IFA Shield triumph, Mohammedan Sporting will be looking to extend their good run when they resume their I-League campaign on Wednesday against Pune FC, at the Balewadi Sports Complex, in Pune.

Of late, Mohammedan Sporting are certainly going through a very good phase, as it’s their resilience which seems to make the rub of the green go in their favour. Without doubt, this resilience has been ushered in by Sanjoy Sen’s second stint as coach.

Without Rakesh Masih — sidelined with a double booking — Mohammedan Sporting midfielders will have to exert a little more in this away encounter. Masih’s replacement, Samson Singh, though, hasn’t done a bad job in the opportunities he got so far.

Mohammedan Sporting, meanwhile, will include Japanese striker Taro Hasegawa in their squad for Wednesday’s game.
