Magadh University on Wednesday launched the facility of online submission of forms for degree-course examinations.
Now, students of 44 constituent, 159 affiliated and three minority colleges under the university will be able to submit their examination forms online. They would have to submit a hard copy too, but that can be done even after the last date for submission of forms.
Pro-vice-chancellor of Magadh University Kriteshwar Prasad said this is the first time a Bihar university has started online submission of examination forms.
The university’s public relations officer M.S. Islam told The Telegraph: “The format of the examination form has been uploaded on the university website. The students filling the examination forms will have to mention the number of the demand draft that has to be drawn from any nationalised bank to be submitted as examination fee. Later, the students would have to submit a hard copy of the examination form in their respective colleges.”
The new system has been started in the interest of students in view of the indefinite strike of the university’s non-teaching employees that started from Tuesday.
The last date of submitting examination forms for Part I, Part II and Part III has been extended to February 27 from February 15.
