Tease terror torments Buxar girls

Growing number of tease-and-torment episodes on the roads of the town has struck terror in the hearts of girls.

Last Friday’s incident in which a Class X student was murdered at a coaching centre on Friday by an obsessed Class VIII boy has further shook the confidence of girls.

The road Romeos target them on their way to educational institutions and tuitions. The district police are at a loss to rein the menace. Many girl students have stopped coming to the institutions in fear of being teased.

However, in a bid to instil confidence in girls, Buxar superintendent of police Baburam said: “But we nabbed the killer, Ajay Kumar, the very next day of the incident, from Tazpur village in Uttar Pradesh.”
