Pratidin claim title

Guwahati, Feb. 2: Asomiya Pratidin annexed the Media Cricket Tournament title for the Mono Mohan Borah Trophy defeating News Live by 18 runs in the final at Judges Field here yesterday

Batting first, Asomiya Pratidin put up 145 runs for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Jagjit Singh topscored with an unbeaten 62 runs off 57. In reply, News Live batsmen could only manage 127 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their regular overs.

Jagjit Singh was adjudged the Man of the Tournament.
