Pratidin in final

Guwahati, Jan. 29: Asomiya Pratidin edged past DY365 by six runs to make it to the final of the Media Cricket Tournament at Judges Field here today.

In the first semi-final, Asomiya Pratidin managed a total of 119 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.

Jagjit Singh topscored with 50 runs off 55 balls. Ankur Borthakur bagged two wickets conceding 28 runs.

Chasing a modest total, DY365 scored 113 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their regular overs.

Naba Kalita scored 40 runs off 47 deliveries. Manjit Sarmah and Hemchandra Pathak bagged two wickets each, going for 15 and 27 runs respectively.

News Live will play The Assam Tribune in the second semi-final tomorrow.
