Plea against order

Patna: Former ministers Chandra Mohan Rai, Prem Kumar and Janardan Singh Sigriwal on Wednesday filed petitions seeking quashing of the notice sent to them to vacate their bungalows. he matter is likely to be taken up for hearing on September 6 or September 9.

Ramai upset

Patna: Land reforms and revenue minister Ramai Ram on Wednesday declared that he felt “suffocated” in the ministry. The minister has been upset over the fact that he has not been allotted another bungalow.

Graft probe

New Delhi (PTI): The Central Vigilance Commission found alleged financial irregularities to the tune of Rs 2,700 crore by a Bihar-based television group, according to the transparency watchdog’s annual report for 2012 tabled in Parliament. The group, which is into broadcasting business, has availed facilities from various banks led by PNB to the tune of Rs 2,700 crore.
