UPSC success

Silchar, May 6: Two youths from Barak Valley have figured on the list of successful UPSC candidates, taking the tally in Assam to 11.

The two are Bikram Krori, a resident of Udarbond block near here, and Kamanashish Sen, whose family is from this town but of late had shifted to Maligoan near Guwahati.

Bikram is a student of Navodaya School in Cachar districtís Pailapool township. He got a BTech degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi. He was placed 674th in the UPSC list. Kamanashish, who stood 289th, is a student of NIT in Durgapur in West Bengal. He has an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He is the son of former chief medical officer of NF Railway, Kaylan Sen.
