E. Khasi Hills triumph

Shillong, Nov. 21: East Khasi Hills Cricket Association edged past Shillong Cricket Association by one wicket in the inaugural match of the Meghalaya Cricket Association under-25 inter-district cricket tournament at its ground in Polo here.

In the group A match, Shillong opted to bat and were all out for 124 in the stipulated 35 overs. In reply, East Khasi Hills amassed 128 losing nine wickets in 34.4 overs.

Raj Biswa and Sylvester Myliempdah scored 31 runs each for Shillong while Bijon Dey and Amiangshu Sen shared three wickets each.

For East Khasi Hills, Chaman Pushp (42) and Anzar Ali (35) were the notable scorers. Dathew Syngkon of Shillong scalped four wickets, including a hattrick.
