3 rebels surrender

Agartala, Nov. 16: Three NLFT rebels laid down arms to the Assam Rifles last night. They deposited a pistol, grenades, Bangladeshi SIM cards and currency. They have been identified as Mancha Debbarma, Manoj Debbarma and Ashok Debbarma.

Bhupen’s will

Guwahati: Bhupen Hazarika’s son Tez on Friday filed his objections to the probate application, which was filed for legal authentication of his father’s ill. The probate application was filed by two executors of Hazarika’s will, Sunil Nath and Partha Dutta.

Woman hurt

Kokrajhar: Unidentified gunman shot at a woman, Atila Bibi, at Bamungaon under Kokrajhar police station on Friday. She was taken to hospital. Senior police officer rushed to the spot.
