CM to visit Pakistan in Diwali

Patna, Oct. 16: Chief minister Nitish Kumar is likely to spend Diwali in Pakistan.

According to sources, the foreign ministry has cleared an 11-member delegationís visit to Pakistan from November 9 to 16. The 11-member delegation would include ministers Sukhada Pandey and Renu Kushwaha. The delegation would visit Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.

According to sources, the delegation is expected to cross through Wagah border. Nitishís visit has the consent of the Prime Ministerís office.

Nitish would be visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Pakistan MPs and universities. A 21-member delegation, including 13 MPs from Pakistan, had visited Bihar in August and praised the efforts of the chief minister to develop Bihar. In an interview last month, cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan had said his country needed a politician like Nitish to develop the country.
