Medallists felicitated

Imphal, Oct. 3: The Wushu Association of Manipur feted three players, who bagged a bronze medal each in the 4th Junior World Wushu Championship, 2012 held at Macau in China last month, at the Wushu Training Hall at Khuman Lampak sports complex here today. The medallists are L. Romesh Singh, T. Arita Devi and L. Memicha Devi in Taolu event. Altogether 17 players represented India in the meet.

Sepak takraw: Manipur Police Sports Club (B) will meet MPSC(C) counterparts in the final of the 1st NSYC Sepak Takraw Championship tomorrow at Samurou in Imphal West.

In the semi-finals, MPSC (B) beat hosts NSYC by 3-1 sets with 15-9, 12-15, 15-7, 15-6 points while MPSC (C) defeated Public Union Club by 3-0 sets with 15-13, 15-7, 15-7 points en route the final.

Football: Patsoi PAMYL overcame Mayang Imphal BBA by a solitary goal in the Imphal West Third Divison Football League Tournament played at YWC Malom ground today. Jemson Singh fetched the winning goal for Patsoi. The other match saw Luwangamba delivering the lone goal for Hayel Uchiwa HYPC to beat Keishamthong KKYU.
