Yaiskul triumph

Imphal, May 15: A three-wicket haul and 22 runs from Sanjit Singh took Yaiskul Athletic Club to their 52-run victory against Eastern Sporting Union in the MCA Classification Tournament at Luwangpokpa cricket ground today.

For Yaisku, Sanjit Singh topscored with 22 runs while Nikel Singh fetched 17 runs to put up 155/10 from 37.2 overs.

Eastern Sporting Union bowlers Henry Singh, Shankar Singh and Herojit Singh bagged two wickets each.

For Eastern Sporting Herojit Singh was not out at 32 but ran out of partners at the other end and they fell short by 52 runs for the defeat today. Sanjit Singh bagged three wickets and was adjudged the Man of the Match.
