Rupam appeals to HC
Patna: Rupam Pathak, convicted of killing Purnea BJP legislator Rajkishore Keshari, on Monday filed an appeal in Patna High Court challenging the verdict of a lower court that awarded her life imprisonment.

Gaya: Eight FIRs were lodged with Gurua police station on Sunday in connection with illegal mining of stones on Kalauna hills. Mines inspector Kapoori Tanti lodged the FIRs against Basant Manjhi, Guddu Khan and eight others. Two compressor machines used to carry out blasts were seized.
