Arms, man in the net

Chhapra, Feb. 7: An arms peddler was today arrested and two illegal pistols and an empty magazine were recovered from him. The arms were being taken to Lucknow from Munger.

Rail police station house officer Manoj Kumar said when Sealdah-Ballia Express stopped at Chhapra Junction, a person alighted and started running seeing the Government Railway Police personnel. After running a little distance, the cops detained him and the arms were recovered from his possession. The arrested person has been identified as Muhammad Mukin of Munger. An FIR under the Arms Act has been lodged.
