Where: Zhilann, City Centre I.

On the menu: If sweets and treats are not your taste, sample seafood specials like Rock Lobsters in Chilli Oyster Basil, King Crabs Shanghai Style and Sea Bass with ginger and spring onion.

Pocket pinch: A meal for two will cost Rs 800, approximately.

Where: Ivory Kitchen, 22 Camac Street.

On the menu: Tuck in to Tantalising Turkey — an exquisite turkey buffet with Roasted Turkey in Cranberry Glaze, Mughlai Raan and Crevettes Louis IV. Dessert includes Nalen Gur Sandesh, Plum Pudding with Brandy Sauce and Fresh Strawberry Mousse with Almond Praline.

Pocket pinch: Rs 645 per person.

Where: The Park.

On the menu: The lavish Christmas Eve dinner on December 24 will be at The Park’s coffeeshop. Tuck in to a classic buffet comprising Turkey Roast, Suckling Pig and Orange Glazed Ham. For desserts, there’s Brandy Flamed Christmas Pudding and an assortment of pies and cheesecakes. If you miss this extravaganza, try the Christmas Champagne Brunch between 12pm and 4pm on December 25. Plus, The Street will be open nightlong on December 24 with special Christmas pastries, pies and puddings as well as kathi rolls, sandwiches and biryani. And for the diehard Bengali, the Banglar Maachh’r Mishti festival starts on December 24 and will be on for the next 10 days.

Pocket pinch: Christmas lunch and dinner at the coffeeshop will cost Rs 1,000 per person approximately. A meal for two at Saffron will cost Rs 1,500 approximately. Christmas goodies at The Street start at Rs 50. Taxes extra.

On the menu: On December 24, sample Turkey Tonnato, Vegetable Fagotino with Taleggio Cheese Sauce and Seafood Ravioli in Marinara Sauce at La Cucina. If you are a Roast Turkey fan, head to the Waterside Cafe on December 24 and 25. Dig into chocolates, cookies and Christmas pudding at The Bakery.

Pocket pinch: At Waterside Cafe, the buffet is priced at Rs 1,500, at La Cucina prices of the dishes start at Rs 500 and at The Bakery Rs 250 onwards. Taxes extra.

On the menu: Let loose the chocomaniac in you this Christmas. The address that celebrates its 25th year has brought together a range of goodies like Christmas cookies, fruitcakes, pudding in brandy butter sauce, pastries, Yule log, mince pie, dundee cake and chocolates.

On the menu: The special Christmas Eve dinner buffet on December 24 and lunch on December 25 at Oceanic includes Roast Turkey, Roast Duck, seafood specials and savouries like plum cake and Yule log. At Ego, Twist With Santa and make merry with unlimited cocktails followed by starters and a Christmas dinner. A fashion show, theme games and surprise gifts from Santa will add to the fun.

Pocket pinch: At Oceanic, Rs 800 per person, plus taxes. Cover charge at Ego is Rs 2,500 per person and Rs 3,000 for a couple.

On the menu: The chocolate and crepe stop celebrates Switzerland this Christmas with its Swiss Carnival. Try roesti, macaroni and cheese salads and a made-to-order Raclette corner, where you can take your pick from a variety of barbecued vegetables and top it up with melting raclette cheese. Plus, a divine melting pot of chocolate fondue served with fresh and fruits.

On the menu: Christmas Plum Cake, mini plum cake muffins, Yule log cakes, mince pies and rum plum cake gelato are the pop picks. Buy your kids chocolate truffle cakes and gelato cakes made pretty with Christmas trees and Santa sledges.

For Zaika Delights visit Kalash between December 24 and December 30 and enjoy desi dishes with ghazals and grub. On Christmas Eve, belly dancers spruce it up at Virgose with band Blue Velvet as Underground prepares for Merry Mischief. Yule Luv It at the pastry shop between December 24 and 31 as you pick from Yule logs, ginger bread house and Xmas fruit cake.
