Dumka, Oct. 28: The Dumka district administration has taken the Meghdoot postcard episode seriously and said it violated the model code of conduct.
According to district public relations officer, Ajoy Nath Jha, the sub-divisional officer of Dumka, Abdesh Kumar Pandey, today issued a showcause notice to the deputy superintendent of post and telegraph department of Dumka.
