rare talent

Little genius

going to the univer- sity at the age of nine may not be something that all of us dream of. But recently, March Tian Boedihardjo, an Indonesian-Chinese boy, has won a position at Hong Kongís Baptist University (HKBU) after obtaining two grade As and a B in his A-levels. This maths prodigy is the youngest to have won a seat in a Hong Kong university. March is due to start the specially designed five-year course in September. He told reporters that he enjoyed playing games with children of his age but failed to communicate with them academically. March loves reading but generally reserves his weekend for playing with his pals. The president of HKBU said that March has been admitted on the basis of his outstanding results. He also did exceptionally well in his interview, where he handled questions from four professors. Kudos to this little genius.

coming alive

Reel reality

A brand new version of The Jungle Book is ready to be made and released by 2009. And this one wonít be another animation film; it will feature real animals. The film will have wildlife footage and will be shot in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Guess itís only a matter of time before tigers and snakes start talking for real!
