New Delhi, Dec. 5: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has bagged an over $5 million (Rs 25 crore) landmark development and maintenance project from Merrill Lynch.
The deal, which was signed on Wednesday, involves building a global next-generation Research Analyst Workbench on Microsoft's leading-edge technology platform. The products developed will be targeted at investment banking, financial services and research community.
The product will meet all the regulatory demands, market pressures and extensive industry-wide benefits.
The contract to Satyam is a part of an order given to a consortium such as Microsoft and Dell.
Commenting on this project, president Ram Mynampati said, “It’s a landmark achievement for Satyam as it reflects the significant depth of our financial services’ competency.”
