Bagan’s NFL results on mobiles
Mohun Bagan have signed a MoU with a London-based company through which the results of their National Football League matches will be flashed on mobiles via SMS. This is the first time the results of the National League matches of any team will be seen on cell phones.
A Mohun Bagan official informed that 60 per cent of the earnings will go to the fund of the club while the rest will go in the account of the company.
Meanwhile, Mohun Bagan failed to sign the Brazilians Eduardo and Leonardo as their International Transfer Certificate did not reach the city on Wednesday. That virtually ruled them out of Bagan’s NFL opener against Mohammedan Sporting, though the officials said they will request the AIFF to allow them play the match, provided the ITCs reach on Thursday.
