Christchurch: New Zealand Cricket chief Martin Snedden has said they are seeking information from the International Cricket Council regarding their World Cup match in Kenya after last week’s terrorist attacks in that country.
Snedden said he has asked the foreign affairs department and the ICC for updates.
“I have sought information from the ICC. We want their thoughts on it and I have asked our foreign affairs department for information and advice.
“I think it is early days but it is something we are monitoring and I’m sure the ICC will be too,” he said.
New Zealand are to meet Kenya in Nairobi in one of the two World Cup matches to be played in the city next February.
