Calcutta: Uttam Singh Mundy and his team won the pro-am championship, which precedes the Rs 9.5-lakh Surya Nepal Masters, at the Gokarna Forest Golf Resort course in Kathmandu Monday.
According to information received here, Mundy and his teammates — Madan Rana, Jonathan Pine and Tasi Tsering — tallied 80 points. Mundy, champion here in 1997, shot a three-under 69 to contribute 39 points. Tsering was the best performer, earning 41 points.
Rahil Gangjee’s four-under-68 helped his finish runners-up. Gangjee logged 40 points.
