Karachi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Thursday appointed former South African allrounder Mike Procter as Match Referee for the forthcoming tri-series in Kenya.
Pakistan, Australia and Kenya will take part in the series to be held from August 29 to September 7. It was scheduled for Pakistan but was shifted to a neutral venue after the Australian Cricket Board said it wouldn’t tour Pakistan citing security concerns.
South African Rudi Koertzen and Zimbabwean Russel Tiffin will stand as ICC neutral umpires while Pakistan’s Aleem Dar, Nadeem Ghouri and Asad Rauf will act as home umpires.
