Canva, the must-have creative tool for millions across the globe, has added AI video generation features using Google Veo 3 as part of its Canva AI. It will enable video generation along with text, designs and images from text prompts.
Be it a product teaser or a creative social post, Create a Video Clip can convert your prompts into eight-second video clips, complete with sound.
The video that is created can be opened in Canva’s Video Editor, where it can be fine-tuned with tools like the Brand Kit, music, text, and more. It can also be copied into other design formats, like a social post, presentation or campaign asset. Create a Video Clip is also rolling out across Leonardo.Ai. Leonardo users on paid plans can now tap into Veo 3’s capabilities as part of their creative workflow.
Canva has been around for a little over 10 years, during which it has put creative tools in the hands of users who need to have little technical expertise. The platform has been adding AI features for quite some time. Canva’s Magic Studio and Canva AI tools have been used over 18 billion times.
A few weeks ago, the company released another set of AI tools, including Canva Sheets, which is an AI-powered spreadsheet. It also released Canva Code, a generative AI for website widgets, so you can add interactive elements to websites without coding knowledge.
