Anushka Sharma has announced the wrap of her upcoming sports drama Chakda ‘Xpress, a biopic on former India women’s cricket team captain Jhulan Goswami. Anushka celebrated the shoot wrap up with Jhulan and cast and crew members of the film, set to release on Netflix. The makers will announce the release date of the film soon.

The last clap was called by Jhulan Goswami herself who is the inspiration behind the sports drama.

Chakda ’Xpress was shot in six cities including Kolkata, where Anushka had shot at the Eden Gardens.
Anushka also shared a behind-the-scenes photo showing herself lying in a van while Jhulan holds a clapperboard.
The 34-year-old actress shared a warm hug with Prosit after the wrap up.
The film, produced by Anushka’s production company Clean Slate Filmz, will be released on Netflix.
