This momentous achievement was soon followed by another significant feat: the gentle touchdown of the Vikram Lander, housing the Pragyan Rover, at the Moon's South Pole. This extraordinary accomplishment positioned India as the pioneering nation to successfully execute such a mission.
Shortly thereafter, in September, ISRO accomplished yet another triumph by launching the Aditya-L1 Solar Observatory. In a span of just eight weeks, India hosted three remarkable space events that captured both national and international attention.

To sustain this curiosity and channel it into potential future career prospects, it is imperative to develop a robust K-12 curriculum.
The transformative changes brought about by the National Educational Policy (NEP) of 2020 have ushered in a revolution in the Indian education system. This transformation aims to align education with the needs and aspirations of the nation and its people. The conventional system's heavy reliance on rote memorization had stifled children's creative imagination and hindered the development of their intellectual reasoning abilities.
Students who struggled in such an environment often failed to reach their full potential, burdened by perceived inadequacies in their educational journey. Recognizing the importance of hands-on learning for long-term knowledge retention, the pedagogical approach of learning by doing is being embraced across the nation's schools.
In August 2023, following extensive research and deliberation, the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) was unveiled. The curriculum places significant emphasis on skill-based and vocational learning. Moreover, it introduces forward-looking subjects such as Space Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and others. However, this is just the beginning. The inclusion of topics like "satellites," "application of satellites," and "rockets" implies that these technologies will be the cornerstone of India's future. By introducing these subjects early in students' education, we aim to plant the seeds of interest in space science, fostering comprehensive learning experiences that encompass a deep understanding of Astronomy and Space Technology. It is our hope that this step will ensure that Space Science becomes a topic constantly on children's minds, inspiring dreams of becoming astronauts, rocket scientists, and more.
