For the academic year 2022–2023, new international students who are starting a postgraduate taught master's degree at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, can apply for scholarships worth between £4,000 and £5,000 in total.

Scholarships will be offered competitively to individuals who showcase good academic achievement (current and/or previously obtained) as well as any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.

Scholarships will be awarded on a continuous basis. Awards may be given early in the application season, thus applying for admission early is suggested. The duration of the scholarship is 1 year.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to be taken into consideration for a Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship must:

  • Obtain admission as a brand-new, fee-paying overseas applicant who has been offered a full-time, taught master's degree by the Faculty of Science for the 2022–2023 academic year.
  • Rely on your own resources to pay for things. Students who get full scholarships from a government agency or an embassy, for instance, are not eligible.

Subject

Chemistry, Computer and information sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Pharmacy and biomedical sciences, Physics, Forensic science, Biochemistry, Biology and biological sciences, Biomedical science, Immunology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Pharmacy.

The last date to apply for the scholarship is 31 July 2022.
