NIRF Ranking 2023: IIM Rohtak ranks 12th in management category; Read full details here

National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 was announced on 5 June, 2023 and being consistent with its performance over the years, Indian Institute of Management Rohtak has gained the 12th position in Management. The institute witnessed a significant jump in the ranking, from 16th position in 2022 to 12th position this year. The institute’s rank has seen a consistent increase in its rank, from 29 five years ago to 12 now. IIM Rohtak is the only highly ranked management institute in Haryana.

IIM Rohtak was the first IIM to be set up in North India and is the only IIM in the Nation Capital Region. Today, IIM Rohtak is the largest IIM in terms of student strength with nearly 1700 students in various long duration programmes. The faculty and research scholars continue to remain ahead in research output with a large number of papers being published in A/A* international journals each year. This is also evident from the research and professional practice scores of the institute. It is remarkable to mention that IIM Rohtak received AMBA accreditation this year, placing us among the top 2% of Business Schools globally.

Additionally, IIM Rohtak has done incredible work in the public policy domain. It has done research and consulting projects for multiple institutions/departments like the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Tourism, and NDRF. The institute is also doing training programmes in, Data Analytics, Strategic Digital Transformations, Leadership Skills, etc. for government officers, public institutions, and non-government corporations.

Over the years, IIM Rohtak has truly epitomised the meaning of diversity and innovation. The institute’s record percentage of nearly 70% of female students in the MBA programme is a remarkable achievement for any institution globally. IIM Rohtak is the first IIM in the country to offer an integrated program in law and business, the five-year Integrated Programme in Law (IPL – BBA + LLB).

Other unique programs launched by IIM Rohtak include PG Diploma in Sports Management and the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (BBA+MBA) program.
