Students of The Neotia University had been waiting eagerly for Impulse, the cultural fest of the university, for a month. Their efforts were clearly visible in the hard work they've been slogging through day in and day out. No stone was left unturned to make Impulse 2k23 a big hit. This time the fest was sponsored by Domino's and KTM, along with several food and book stalls that were also installed. Since the Flash Mob performed by students at CC2 on 15 March, people knew a grand success was forthcoming. The vigour and enthusiasm portrayed in public were a great show of determination by the students.

The first day, 28 March, itself was an energetic day with inter-university events and crowds rushing in to watch a battle of the bands, a rap battle, and a soulful singing competition. The beginning highlight of the day was a dear faculty member, Pragun Sir, with his band Marangburu, giving a thrilling performance for his students. Followed by this, Alo: The band and DJ Koyel engaged students for a prolonged time and kept the fire of the fest running till midnight.

The second and last day of the fest started with a dance competition, followed by beatboxing. But the showstopper for that day remained Trend Floor—the fashion show, where students from several disciplines gathered to walk the ramp, representing several characters from popular web series. Just when people thought the fun was over, Snigdhajit Bhowmik gallivanted with his thriller performance, followed by DJ Abhi, who made a powerful yet emotional impact. The hard work by the students and coordinators surely paid off, and the university witnessed a rise in footfall compared to the last few years, making it a grand success.
