The celebration of music got elevated with rhythm and melody as Sargam, the official music club of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (MSIT) celebrated Vocations 8.0, the extravagant music fest of the college at the campus.

The first half of the event mainly focused on six main competitions; Ekant (solo singing), Sync (battle of bands), Amplify (solo instrumental), Wings of Words (recitation), Hip-Hop-Havoc (rap battle), and Antakshari (fun games) while the second half consisted of all the group performances of Sargam members and a special appearance by Rajiv Maitra, the lead singer of the renowned band Lakkhichhara, as guest of honor.

One of the key highlights of the festival was the SYNC - Battle of Bands, where electrifying performances and fierce competition kept the audience on the edge of their seats. The event boasted a diverse array of performances, which also included "Ekant" (solo singing) that echoed through the hearts of the audience, and ‘Amplify (solo instrumental) which transported listeners to distant realms of beauty.

"Antakshari" brought everyone together in a joyous celebration of music, where participants showcased their knowledge and love for timeless classics, Hip-Hop-Havoc (Rap battle) infused the atmosphere with energy and excitement, as artists unleashed their creativity and wit through rapid-fire verses, And amidst it all, the art - "Wings of Words (recitation) captivated minds and stirred souls, with performers bringing poetry to life with their eloquence and expression.

Bands from various colleges showcased their skills, blending musical expertise with raw energy, leaving an indelible mark on everyone present which included The Heritage College, Techno India Group of colleges, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Jadavpur University, Heritage Institute of Technology, and several others.
