Summary
Institute of Bakery and Culinary Arts organised a “Master Cake Artist” Competition Season 2 on the theme “health” for their students
The Event was graced by the presence of Chef Sireesh Saxena, Cake artist Megha Kwatra Madan, Chef Tarun Kumar, Chef Gaurav Wadhwa, Chef Vimal Semwal, Cake artist Seema Tyagi, Pastry Chef Smriti Iyer, and Cake Pooja Nanda Sareen

Institute of Bakery and Culinary Arts organised a “Master Cake Artist” Competition Season 2 on the theme “health” for their students. This competition's objective was to give participants an opportunity to showcase their talent and learn from the most experienced chefs. The competition was conducted in 2 rounds and 32 students participated in the event. Renowned chefs from the hospitality industry were part of the jury members of the competition.

With the cash prize of ₹21,000 Shally Sabharwal secured the 1st position, Monika Saini won the second position with a cash prize of ₹11,000, and Shalini Saini secured the third position with a cash prize of ₹5100 in the competition. Ekta Bothra won the excellence in Theme award, Priyanka won in excellence in Taste award, Khushboo Keshri won in excellence in Hygiene, Neha Gupta won in excellence in Presentation and Ayushi Choudhry won in excellence in Time Management.

While speaking about competition Dr. Chef Balendra Singh Said “The Master Cake Artist Competition is a platform for home bakers to not only showcase their skills but also to learn from some of the most seasoned professionals in the field. It's an opportunity for them to push boundaries and create edible works of art that leave a lasting impression.”

Through engaging in the competition, students learn to appreciate their own working skills, gain valuable life skills by working under pressure and working with limited time, gain confidence by presenting and speaking about their recipes and develop culinary skills that they can use later in life.
