Throwing light on his win Aditya added “I was informed by my school teacher about being nominated in 18 under 18 and since then my happiness knew no bounds. My interview with Mr Deep Dasgupta was extremely fascinating as it was my first experience. I believe the programme was very well organised and it gave me a good exposure, beginning from collecting my award on stage to meeting such great and talented people all around.”

Highlighting his future plans, Aditya says “I usually practise around 4 to 5 hours a day. Even now when I am very close to my board exams I am taking some time out to practise. Yes, it is difficult to manage both but one has to do it. Usually I give 6 to 7 hours to my studies and that helps me out in the long run. I would like to add that 18 under 18 actually gave me a lot of confidence. I made me see that I have a lot of potential in me which was recognised by such valuable jury members of the award show. I believe that this confidence will help me greatly in my future career ahead”.

In the modern world, cricket is not just restricted to being a game, but it has a strong emotional attachment which connects all Indians together. The sport, for the longest time, has been considered as one of the biggest celebrations that brings all countrymen immeasurable joy. Having the same passion and interest towards the game, Aditya aims to become a cricketer seeking glory for both himself and his country.

“I spend my free time reading fitness and cricket books. I also keep engaging myself in different fitness activities. I believe these activities keep me mentally very strong besides giving me the physical strength to deal with the game effectively so that I can represent myself as a good player on the ground. Moreover, I enjoy reading as it inspires and teaches me a lot about the great players and how they reached their heights of success” concluded Aditya.
