In a bid to hone the skills and nurture the talent of students for their holistic development, Amity University Uttar Pradesh Noida campus will be organising Amity Youth Fest 2024 on February 29 and March 1 at the university campus. The event will witness the active participation of students not only from across India but also from other parts of the world.

More than 70 technical events will be organised as a part of the fest over two days including inter-institutional, technical and cultural competitions. The Technical Competitions will include 'Krishi Kriti', 'AgriSolutionary', 'AI Warfare Arena', 'Circuitism', 'Civileer', 'Brainwave 2.0', 'Crimean 2024', 'Beech Bizarre', 'FinQuest', 'E-Trailer 2.0', 'Food Hackathon', 'KREATIV’24' 'Fashion Show Competition', 'Indian Culinary Challenge', 'Quad Mania', 'Elevator Pitch & Business Canvas' Competition, amongst others which will enhance the knowledge of the students.

While the cultural competitions will include 'Nrityarsh', a solo Indian dance competition, 'Oscillation' a group western dance competition, 'Rangrez', a folk-dance competition, 'Reverberate', a solo western singing competition, 'Symphony', a percussion/non-percussion, solo and group competition, 'Swar Manthan', a light Indian vocal singing competition, and many other interesting and engaging events.

“The objective of AYF is to creatively engage the university/college/school students, boost their confidence and help them showcase their knowledge and skills. Amity students organize this event every year with great enthusiasm and put their heart and soul into it. By organizing such events, students get the opportunity to network, learn to face challenges, inculcate team spirit and hone their interpersonal skills, which makes them confident and helps in shaping their personality,” said Prof (Dr) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Uttar Pradesh.

Dr Pradeep Joshi, Chairperson of AYF 2024 on the other hand said that the tributaries of knowledge, culture, visions and panaromas will converge, giving the festival its true meaning.

"We at Amity believe that this festival would bring amidst euphoria, an experience to remember and an opportunity to form new bonds while celebrating our cherished cultures, heritage and values. The two-day extravaganza instills community engagement, leadership, and event management skills, which are the key requisites in today’s competitive environment,” said Dr Joshi.
