Taiwan ‌Premier Cho Jung-tai said several people ‍had been injured after a person released ⁠smoke bombs at a ‍Taipei subway station ⁠and then attacked bystanders, according to comments Cho made on ‌his Facebook page on Friday.

Cho did not give further details.

The attacker was suspected to have ⁠then killed himself, the official Central News Agency said.
