French investigators conducted raids on Friday as part of their investigation into a French diplomat after he was mentioned in documents released by the US Department of Justice concerning convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the French financial prosecutor's office said on Tuesday.
Raids in various location, notably at Edmond de Rothschild bank offices took place on March 20, it said.
