Vande Bharat Express between Howrah and Puri will have its inaugural run from Puri on May 18

A Vande Bharat Express between Howrah and Puri will have its inaugural run from Puri on Thursday, said an official of South Eastern Railway.

The regular run of the train, the second Vande Bharat connected to Howrah, will start on May 25. The train will run six days a week, except Thursdays, said officials.

The train will leave Howrah at 6.10am and reach Puri at 12.35pm the same day. It will depart from Puri at 1.50pm and arrive in Howrah at 8.30pm the same day.

The train will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road stations. Bookings will be available through Passenger Reservation System (PRS) and Internet from Wednesday, said railway officials.
