The Endeavour Global School in Siliguri on Thursday organised an awareness programme on soil depletion and soil conservation.
An edutainment programme comprising dance and song on saving the earth and a demonstration over echo-brick making was held at Endeavour Global School school auditorium. Also, the students held a procession on soil conservation near the school area.

Students and teachers of Army Public School and Himali Boarding School Select, Siliguri, also participated in the event.
NT Bhutia, the chief conservator of forests (soil conservation-north circle), who attended the programme as a chief guest highlighted some points on conservation of forests and elaborated as to how depletion of soil can be reduced.
