The storm-ravaged Mela Bari in Serampore. Built by Khetra Mohan Saha over 200 years ago, Mela Bari has been the venue of a 125-year-old fair. The façade of the house gave way around 2pm, said Gautam Saha, one of the descendants of Khetra Mohan Saha. There was no casualty, he added.
