Covid vaccination and immunisation of children will remain closed on Wednesday

Covid vaccination, as well as immunisation of children, will remain closed on Wednesday at all clinics run by the Calcutta Municipal Corporation because of Buddha Purnima.

All clinics will, however, remain open to provide emergency services.

Chemists and druggists, bank officials, members and officials of urban and rural local bodies and members of NGOs attached with the government will be eligible for Covid vaccination by the government, says a notification issued on Tuesday.
