Passengers have been requested to reach Calcutta airport three hours before the departure of a flight from Monday.

Officials said it was taking longer for passengers to enter the terminal because of the safety measures related to the coronavirus outbreak.

More domestic flights are scheduled to operate from Monday, officials said. The number of daily departures and arrivals is expected to rise to 80 each from not more than 17 each on Sunday.

The increase in number of passengers is also likely to add to the delay in entering the terminal, the officials said.
