C.V. Ananda Bose to take oath as governor of Bengal

C.V. Ananda Bose will take oath as the governor of Bengal on Wednesday.

Sources said the oath-taking ceremony would be held around 10.45am. Chief minister Mamata Banerjee, most of her cabinet ministers and senior government officials will be present.

A source said former governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi was also invited to the swearing-in.

Bose reached Calcutta on Tuesday morning. State urban development minister Firhad Hakim and industries minister Sashi Panja received him at the airport.
