Bengal reports 228 new Covid cases, 280 recoveries, one death

Bengal on Saturday reported 228 new Covid-19 infections, 280 recoveries and one death.

Currently, there are 3,116 active cases in the state: 3,026 in home isolation and 90 in hospitals, according to a state bulletin. The state’s recovery rate was 98.84 per cent and mortality rate 1.02 per cent on Saturday. The case positivity rate was 3.41 per cent on a day 6,688 samples were tested.
