Bengal on Friday reported 262 Covid-19 infections, 285 recoveries and one death.
The state has currently 3,169 active patients — 3,081 in home isolation and 88 at hospitals. According to a state government bulletin, the recovery rate was 98.83 per cent and mortality rate 1.02 per cent on Friday. On a day 7,262 samples were tested, the positivity rate was 3.61 per cent.
