Windows Production has officially dropped the much-anticipated announcement teaser of Raktabeej 2, the sequel to their 2023 Durga Puja hit Raktabeej. Directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, the new action thriller promises a gripping blend of suspense, drama, and emotional intensity.
The power-packed teaser opens with chilling flashbacks from the first film, where terrorist Munir Alam was eliminated by law enforcement. A haunting voiceover warns, “When one Munir dies, thousands will rise,” setting the tone for a tense and sprawling cat-and-mouse chase in the sequel.
Abir Chatterjee returns as an Intelligence Bureau officer, with Mimi Chakraborty portraying a senior officer from the West Bengal Police. This time, their mission takes them beyond borders — with parts of the film shot in Thailand, adding to its international scale.
The biggest reveal? Ankush Hazra steps into the shoes of the new Munir Alam. Although only his silhouette is shown in the teaser, the character’s ominous presence looms large, hinting at a fierce showdown between good and evil.
Joining the ensemble cast are acclaimed veterans Victor Banerjee and Seema Biswas, alongside Koushani Mukherjee, Nussrat Jahan, and Kanchan Mullick, adding further weight to this star-studded thriller.

Following the success of Raktabeej in 2023 and the massive reception of Bohurupi last year, Windows Production is planning to dominate Durga Puja 2025 with this action-packed sequel.
